PHIL MINNAAR is the driving force behind the Bwana Game story! A man born and raised in South Africa with a family history dating back 11 generations to the arrival of the French Huguenots in 1688, Phil considers himself a true African, priviledged to have lived a life doing what he loves most - exploring exciting and challenging experiences out in the African bush.  When he started offering commercial air and safari services, his first website was called Bwana-Game, and his career took off.

After 39 years in the safari industry, Phil now consults as a Game Ranching Consultant. His company, Zambian Game Ranching & Wildlife Services is affiliated with public and private game ranching and wildlife services throughout Zambia and Southern Africa. His knowledge, expertise, as well as wildlife capture and relocation skills, make him a popular choice for individuals and organizations faced with game and field management issues, including the re-introduction of lost species where needed.
